Our Newest Bebe

The Bebe Collection has been a great success. We have had the privilege of photographing some wonderful "new" clients that have signed up for this great first year plan. If you haven't heard about it, you get three sessions the first year and a 10x20 art collage plus 10% off all orders for $99. This has been a blessing for many families that would have otherwise not been able to have professional portraits made. What's more important, our clients are discovering the joy and warmth of having art of their children in their home.

Cinderfella 2008

Cinderfella was a blast this year, as always... I am not going to make any wise-cracks, they have all been said before. This is a really fun event sponsored by the Takedown Club at Ponca City High School as a fund-raiser for the Wrestling program. Held annually at the Poncan Theater, this "beauty" pageant is always full of surprises including a mystery contestant. Cope Photography has been the official photographer for Cinderfella now for 4 of it's 5 years and we hope to always be a part of this free spirited performance. Thanks fella's for a good laugh. You can view all the photos on November 10th from our website at http://www.copephoto.com click on information then on online portraits to find them.

Cope Family Portraits

This last weekend we went to the Marland Mansion to have our annual family portrait made. From left to right is Ethan (8), Rachel (12), Katrina, Hannah (2 1/2), and Mark.

As you can tell we had a beautiful day, and everything went well except that Hannah found the candy before we were finished photographing! (In case you are wondering our parents took this portrait.)

Fall Seniors!!

Fall is my favorite time of year and seniors are one of my favorite subjects to photograph. So I am having a blast this time of year. I just wanted to show you a recent image from a senior session with Amanda. We had a blast going to the spillway at Ponca City recreational park, I also made some portraits of her in downtown Ponca City and at the studio! It's very important to seniors that we provide images that are creative and artistic, but also we try very hard to not "cookie-cutter" our portraits. By that I mean to always stay fresh and fun, not do the same shots over and over for everyone. Having said that though, as a professional, I know of some shots that always look good on everyone, so don't fix something that isn't broken..... I will have a couple more images coming later today.

Ponca City Halloween Carnival 2008

The Ponca City Halloween Carnival was a lot of fun for us this year. We experienced a couple of challenges like the loss of a studio light and the overwhelming interest. This was the first year for Cope Photography to be a part and we had no idea the number of people that attend this event.
Having said that, Katrina, Bryan, and I had a great time photographing so many little ghosts and goblins (and the occasional ninja or frog). Please remember that you can pick your complimentary portrait up at the studio during our regular business hours. Cope Photography is located at 205 E Grand Ave in downtown Ponca City Oklahoma. Our business hours are Tuesday thru Friday 10am to 5:30pm. Thanks to Ponca City Main Street for hosting this event and we hope to see everyone there next year!
