Fall at the MansionFundraiser benefiting MOPSTickets are now on sale for our 2nd annual Fall at the Mansion fundraiser. Portraits will be taken at the Marland Mansion in Ponca City on October 24th and 25th. Each ticket purchased will include a 15-minute session with one outfit, one background, and as many different setups we can do in 15 minutes. Additionally, each session will include a $100 portrait credit. All of the money raised from ticket sales will go directly to Ponca City MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers).
Feel free to include your whole family, grandparents, or pets. In case of rain, portraits will be taken at the studio at 205 East Grand Ave, downtown Ponca City, OK.

Fall is my favorite time of year and seniors are one of my favorite subjects to photograph. So I am having a blast this time of year. I just wanted to show you a recent image from a senior session with Amanda. We had a blast going to the spillway at Ponca City recreational park, I also made some portraits of her in downtown Ponca City and at the studio! It's very important to seniors that we provide images that are creative and artistic, but also we try very hard to not "cookie-cutter" our portraits. By that I mean to always stay fresh and fun, not do the same shots over and over for everyone. Having said that though, as a professional, I know of some shots that always look good on everyone, so don't fix something that isn't broken..... I will have a couple more images coming later today.
The Ponca City Halloween Carnival was a lot of fun for us this year. We experienced a couple of challenges like the loss of a studio light and the overwhelming interest. This was the first year for Cope Photography to be a part and we had no idea the number of people that attend this event.
Thank you to everyone that supported the Ponca City Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) with this years Fall at the Mansion sponsored by Cope Photography in Ponca City. We met 21 families at the Marland Mansion this last weekend. The weather was perfect on both days that the event was held. Thanks to the brave one's that came out Saturday morning at 8:30! It was a bit chilly then but the rest of the day was absolutely beautiful. We are looking forward to the families seeing their portraits next week.
